Advocate Says Farewell to Director of Gift Planning
After eight years of dedicated service, Marilyn Schaffer is leaving Advocate Charitable Foundation to join Lincoln Park Zoo as its director of planned giving. Her work on creative gift plans as well as competent oversight of trusts, endowments, and bequests has contributed significantly to Advocate’s growth in philanthropic support during her tenure. Marilyn is credited with developing Advocate Health Care’s Advisor Alliance Program, having leveraged the synergy of system resources to coordinate a more influential program with greater impact.
Marilyn’s passion, insight, and expertise will we be greatly missed, but we wish her all the best as she embarks on this new phase of her professional life. A search for Marilyn’s replacement is underway. If you have any gift planning inquiries, please contact Susan Mongillo, interim director of gift planning at susan.mongillo@advocatehealth.com.
